March 30

Practicing for Kindergarten Science Fair.  He had to show that an egg can float if you add salt to water.  Crazy - giving science fair presentations in Kindergarten?!?!

Mini-golfing with g-ma on another 80 degree March day,

Taking a break.

Naperville St. Patty's Day 5K.
And the parade that followed...

Who wants a pair of those pants?

S'mores...

For whatever reason, Connor wanted to wear the Bill Foster campaign sticker from the parade all day...

March 9

Yearly trip to the Grand Lodge in Wausau, WI.  In years past, Carter would never venture on the "bigger boy" slides.  This year was a different story.  He liked some of them, but not all.  Her preferred the red slide - did not care for any slides that contained tunnels.

Did not take long before he was laying down, going on his stomach, etc...

Its so darn humid, the camera lens tends to fog up.

Jan 31

A slew of pictures from the last couple months.

On the Polar Express Metra train (which was really not very good).

A shot of downtown Chicago?  Nope, Legoland. Which was OK at best.  Don't understand how that place survives, as not a lot of reason to ever go back...not much to do there.

 Connors Kindergarten holiday event/party.

 Santa house in Naperville.

 A successful visit with Santa.

 Connor helping make spritz cookies.

Mild winter has meant plenty of days to ride bikes.

Down by the riverwalk

Snacks for santa and the reindeer.

 Stockings.
We needed to "make" Santa come a few days early, as we had to be in Cleveland for christmas.  So we had walked down to Giordano's for pizza, and then I made an excuse I had to drop something off at the library.   However, rather, I ran home real quick and put out the presents and made it look like santa and the reindeer had showed up.  Spinkled half eaten carrots in the driveway, filled the stockings, ate the snacks, etc.  Then quickly ran back down town and met them at the library.  They had no clue.

Carter cleaning up a cookie Santa "dropped" on the way out.

Santa brought Carter his big boy bike.
 All the cousins in Cleveland.

The boys 3rd xmas (after Santa, after Cleveland xmas) with Grandma Max.

 Aunt Carolyn and the boys.

 New Years Eve.
Taking advantage of a rare snowfall.

Finally made it to Rotary Hill for some sledding.

For whatever reason, the hill is so much less daunting in the winter.  The kids run down that thing a million times in the warm weather, and its hard not to fall face first.  No
